RIDDLE TIME
Using riddles in English Language Teaching and Learning is a fun and effective way to develop students’ language skills and critical thinking. Riddles encourage learners to think creatively, play with words, and practice vocabulary and grammar in a meaningful context. They also promote reading comprehension, inference skills, and cultural awareness through wordplay and humor. Because riddles are short and engaging, they can easily be used as warm-up activities, brain breaks, or group challenges. Most importantly, they make learning enjoyable and help students develop a deeper connection with the language.
